At Dashcam Pro Texas, we’re committed to providing professional, reliable installation services for dashcams and automotive tech in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Please review our installation terms to ensure a smooth and successful experience. By booking our services, you agree to the following:

Service Scope

• Dashcam Pro Texas provides professional installation of dashcams, CarPlay/Android Auto systems, and related automotive accessories for cars, trucks, RVs, and fleet vehicles.
• Installations are performed at your preferred location within Collin, Dallas, or Denton Counties, unless otherwise agreed.
• Services include hardware setup, wiring (including hardwiring when applicable), and user education on device operation and settings.

Customer Responsibilities

• Equipment: Customers must provide the dashcam or accessory to be installed, unless purchased through Dashcam Pro Texas. Hardwire kits, if required, are not included unless specified.
• Vehicle Lease/Purchase Terms: Some installations require power connections directly into the fuse box with “wire/fuse taps” or the vehicle’s battery. Perform a review your vehicle’s lease/purchase paperwork to verify compliance requirements. For example, OBDII based power supply connections are standard for many dashcams to avoid direct access to the fusebox, Dashcam Pro Texas prefers OBDII power for simplicity and wide industry acceptance. Please verify if applicable.
• Vehicle Condition: Ensure your vehicle is accessible, clean, and in good working order at the scheduled appointment time.
• Client Consent: For fleet installations, customers must inform drivers of dashcam usage to comply with privacy regulations. Dashcam Pro Texas is not liable for privacy disputes arising from unnotified use.

Installation Process

• Installations are customized to your vehicle model for optimal performance and aesthetics, ensuring dashcams do not obstruct the driver’s view in compliance with Texas law.
• Typical installation time is 1–3 hours for single vehicles and may vary for fleet projects. We’ll confirm estimated timelines during booking.
• Hardwiring may require access to the vehicle’s fuse box. Customers are responsible for ensuring their vehicle’s battery is in good condition to avoid drainage issues.
• Vehicle Lease/Purchase Terms may prohibit access to the fuse box. Please review the section for Customer Responibiliities for details.

Payment and Scheduling

• A deposit may be required to secure your appointment. Full payment is due upon completion of the installation.
• Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations may incur a fee.

Warranty and Liability

• Dashcam Pro Texas guarantees installation quality for 30 days post-service. Issues due to installation defects will be addressed at no cost.
• We are not responsible for device malfunctions, data loss, or damage to equipment provided by the customer. Customers should verify device functionality before installation.
• Dashcam Pro Texas is not liable for legal issues arising from improper dashcam use, such as recording without consent or obstructing the driver’s view.

• Dashcam Pro Texas reserves the right to update these terms and changes will be posted on this same page.
